Dave Grohl told The Sun that he almost got Weezer to record a track with Barry Manilow for his Sound City: Reel to Reel soundtrack.
“I was this fucking close to getting them on a record. I thought it was going to happen, it would’ve been fucking huge.”
Dave revealed Manilow was up for the film but was hard to find, “He was the first person who said he’d do it but was the last we tracked down. And we had to fly to fucking Hawaii.
